Selous Game Reserve is one of Africa’s largest and most pristine wildlife sanctuaries, covering approximately 54,600 km²—making it four times the size of the Serengeti and roughly the size of Switzerland. The reserve is drained by the mighty Rufiji River and is home to incredible biodiversity, including over 2,000 plant species, more than 430 bird species, and around 60 mammal species.
